R 100 per person

This is an easy 10km run, of which 8km is a non-technical gravel road. On this run, you can see signs of the red hills, a geological event that occurred during the early Cretaceous period.

  1. Run Booking
    All runners will adhere to the terms and conditions and accept all the points stated in the indemnity form.
  2. Price and Payment
    • Prices on quotes may be amended when agreed with clients. Clients will consider any errors or omissions or where an increase is caused by a change in the circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Run Garden Route.
    • Payment or proof of payment will confirm all run bookings.
    • In the case of group bookings, it is the main contact person's responsibility to ensure that all costs are paid upfront to confirm the booking.
    • The cost for activities and tours is included in the Run price. Any additional cost to tours and activities are at clients cost.
    • Methods of Payment: Bank Transfer
      Details for payment will be provided when a booking request is made.
  3. Cancellation
    • The Run can be cancelled on short notice. This will only be caused by an emergency or bad weather conditions that endanger runners.
    • In case a run is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, the run will be rescheduled.
    • If the run can not be rescheduled, the client will be reimbursed.
    • Cancellation will be communicated. Communication will be via phone calls, email and WhatsApp.
  4. Liability
    • Some Run Routes are inherently dangerous. The risks include but are not limited to risks associated with running on roads, trails, and uneven terrain, risks of accidents, injuries, illness or even death.
    • Safety Regulations for activities included in the running routes, also need to be adhered to. In case rules can not be followed, steps will be taken to ensure the safety of all runners.
  5. Fitness and Health
    • Participants acknowledge that they are physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent them from safely participating and completing the booked run.
    • Runners will ensure that they have all the appropriate running gear. This includes proper running shoes and clothing for the run.
    • Runners are also responsible for ensuring they have enough hydration to prevent dehydration during the run.
    • In the event of any injury or medical emergency during a run, Runners authorise Run Garden Route and or any representative of Run Garden Route, to obtain medical treatment on behalf of the injured runner. The injured party and/or their family will be liable for all costs associated with such treatment.
